Gubeikou Great Wall
Gubeikou section of the Wall is located 130 km northeast of Beijing. It was first built in 1368 and expanded in 1567 in the Ming Dynasty. It retains the marks left by Anti-Japanese War 1937-1945. This section features its differences in width, with the widest part able to accommodate five horses walking abreast and the narrowest spot allowing only a single person to pass. Couple of hours of hiking between Gubeikou and Jinshanling( another section ) attracts many people from all over the world, however there is military zone any one has to avoid, right here it is likely to get lost.
